Ordering & Shop Policies

It is important to know the jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage pieces ranging in age between 20 years old to 100 years old. These are not new items and as such will have little bumps and blips just like all of us.

These are considered to be "costume" jewelry. They are made of non-precious gems, metals, pearls and stones. Some have been designed by well-know designers from the 1910's through 1980's. Even our unsigned pieces are beautiful and worthy of bridal wear.  We have hand selected all our pieces with all price ranges in mind.

Vintage Rating System
You will notice us rating the vintage condition of our pieces in our listings. We put together this list to help you understand our rating system.

Excellent - Like new items. Either these have never been used or only worn a very few times. These pieces have been well cared for and have no sign of wear with only minor patina issues, if any.

Very Good - These pieces have been used and show some minor wear and/or patina, but do not have any major flaws.

Good - You won't find too many of these in our shop as for the most part we do not consider them bridal quality. Exceptions to this rule will be for some of our upcycle pieces. We will occasionally use older earrings, brooches and dress clips that still are amazing in their vintage appearance, but might have some heavier patina or other aging issues. In this instance it doesn't distract from the overall appearance of the upcycle piece. One other exception will be if there is an outstanding piece in regards to design or history that outshines the condition issues. In both of these exceptions we will make note of the conditions of the pieces on the listing.

Payment Info
Payment is required immediately upon ordering. All our prices are stated in US dollars. We accept Paypal payments only. You may use your credit card via Paypal.

Shipping Info
We will pay all shipping costs on any jewelry purchase, including insurance.  All other items have an estimated shipping cost listed with them.  If the actual cost is more or less than $1.00 an additional charge or refund will be issued through Paypal.

Layaway Info
We do accept layaways. Contact us for more information about timing and payment amounts. There is a 30% charge (of money already received) if you default on your layaway terms and/or cancel. Please be sure you want the piece before starting a layaway. It is not a temporary holding option.

Refunds and Exchanges
Remember these are vintage pieces, meaning they have lived at least one other life, if not more, before making their way into your lives. These are not new pieces. Each comes with some amount of wear to them. We do not clean patina off vintage pieces as this is a desirable trait to collectors.  However, we will do some minor cleaning on some pieces if needed before listing them. We do our very best to describe each piece exactly as is. Please read very carefully before you purchase to insure you know exactly what you are buying. Please contact us if you have a concern.

We do accept returns within 3 days of receiving your item. You will need to contact us regarding the return within these 3 days.  The item must be returned to us within 7 days in the same condition that it was mailed out to you in. You are responsible for return postage and insurance. We am not responsible for damage or loss that occurred during shipping as we have no control over them once they leave our hands. We will insure items over $75. If you have a problem we will need to go through the proper USPS reporting channels for reimbursement.

Additional Policies and FAQs

• We do not offer discounts or accept offers on my items...from time to time we will have sales or reduce the price on an item but that is to our own discretion.
• Our home is smoke-free, but we do have a dog and a cat we share our lives with.
• Please note that a lot of our items are Vintage; this means they may have a tiny bit of an "older" smell but I guarantee they do not have a "smoke" smell.

We are committed to respecting your privacy. We will not disclose information about your individual visits to our web site or any of the personal information that you provide such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or credit/debit card details to any outside parties without your consent except when required by law to do so. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. We value your privacy as much as you do.

Security
Our online store provides a secure shopping cart for your orders with us. All credit card information is protected by Equifax Secure, Inc. using high-grade 256bit encryption.

Cookies
Our shopping cart software uses "cookies" which are stored on your computer. You can modify your browser to prevent this from happening if you wish. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
